Ideal-tek provides a wide range of professional swabs used for precision cleaning, degreasing and removal of solvents in different environments and applications for the the electronics industry. The line includes many models with cleaning heads in different materials and shapes.
Wrapped foam swabs provide the ideal degree of particle entrapment for precision jobs in controlled environments. The breathable structure of polyurethane foam attracts solvents from the surfaces, allowing an easy removal of tough contaminants. Ideal-tek wrapped foam swabs are available in different shapes (with small tips for tight-tolerance areas, pointed tips for picking) to ensure superior abrasion resistance and a long lifespan.
Sealed polyester swabs are ideal for vigorous rubbing around irregular or raised shapes. Acid-resistant and solvent-resistant, Ideal-tek swabs have the lowest values on the market in terms of ionic, non-volatile and particle contaminants. Strong sealed edges prevent the dispersion of loose fibres or particles, making Ideal-tek polyester swabs ideal for cleanroom processes and many other uses.
Sealed foam swabs are the most convenient swabs for general applications. Free from adhesives or binders, Ideal-tek sealed foam swabs do not generate particles or lose fibres that could contaminate the delicate processes of electronic device working. The open cell structure of the reticulated foam for medical use (100 ppi) provides excellent trapping of the particles, ensuring the best solvent retention.
